Banking and payment comparisons for UK businesses

Where a choice between providers or approaches has a defensible answer, we set it out side by side. Everything here comes from published pricing pages, official registers and scheme documentation, cited on the page — we do not rate, score or rank on impressions.

How we compare

Three rules, and they are the reason some obvious comparisons are missing from this page.

Only verifiable facts. Pricing, limits and features come from the provider’s own published material or an official register, with the source named. Where a figure is not public, the page says so rather than estimating it.

No scoring. We do not award marks out of ten. A provider that is wrong for a payroll bureau can be exactly right for a single-currency retailer, and a single score hides that. The comparisons describe where each option fits and where it breaks.

We disclose our position. financeb2b.co.uk is an Introducer Partner for Gemba. Where Gemba appears in a comparison it is labelled, and the cases where a competitor is the better fit are stated plainly. Our editorial approach and the partnership itself are both documented.

Still deciding?

If the comparison you need is between your current setup and something that would actually fit, that is a conversation rather than a table.
