1. Who we are

financeb2b.co.uk is an independent editorial website and Introducer Partner for Gemba Technologies Ltd. We are the data controller for personal data you submit to this website. For questions about this policy, email editor@financeb2b.co.uk.

We are not ourselves FCA-authorised. Banking, payment, and card services described on this site are provided by Gemba Technologies Ltd (FCA FRN 804853). Gemba's privacy policy governs data you provide when opening a Gemba account.

2. Data we collect and why

  • Contact form submissions: name, email, company name, message. Used to respond to your enquiry. Retained for 12 months then deleted.
  • Cookies and analytics: we use Google Analytics (with IP anonymisation) to understand traffic and improve content. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent via the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for details.
  • Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited. Retained for 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes. Not used for profiling or marketing.

3. What we don't do with your data

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not use your data for automated profiling or decision-making.
  • We do not send unsolicited marketing emails. If you contact us via the contact form, we will reply to your enquiry only.

4. Legal basis for processing

Contact form: legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry) and, where you have indicated consent, communication. Analytics: consent (via cookie banner). Server logs: legitimate interests (security and fraud prevention).

5. Data retention

Contact form data: 12 months from submission. Server logs: 30 days. Analytics: Google Analytics default (26 months, configurable). We review and delete data no longer needed on a rolling basis.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; object to processing; portability of data provided by you. To exercise these rights, email editor@financeb2b.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk.
